Ok..
weird day,
First lesson of the day was the cktcs lab, it was probably the first time since 3 years which i fully understood what the lecturer was teaching. Never have i left a class completely understanding what's going on till today. so i decided to have a blog entry on this very special day ☺
next was the project stuff, since i was assigned to deal with the pressure controllers.. oh.. blah.. blah.. blah.. it's pre-judging today and the thing didn't work like it did before.. it just suddenly broke down argggghhh >.<
next was the cds which i had gotten myself into... well, the subject is called 'Business Chinese & PRC Culture' but, nooooo... it's nothing near.. this was the first lesson that i had attended for that subject, and i received the notes, the title was, 'Business Correspondence in English'. "errmm, ok maybe it's not too bad, this is going to be easy" yeah, at least that's what i thought until i took a closer look at the notes, more than half of what's printed on it was in Chinese, and i haven't been good at it since primary school =/ Later in the exercises, we were told to refer to the English correspondence, and we were told to translate them into Chinese. !@#$ It's been about 3.5 years since i last tried to write this much words in Chinese. Luckily there's a eng-chi dictionary in the phone. That aside, why the ^%$# are we doing eng-chi translation in this 'Business Chinese & PRC Culture' class and i suppose we'll be doing this for the rest of the semester as well, cos the notes, are all alike. I just checked the lecturer's details and it says, "Specialisation: Business Comm skills and E/C language translation" I'm so screwed..
Back to project pre-judging, since i had cds during the pre-judging period, i missed quite abit of what the judge had to say about the project, when i went back , he was about to leave already. from what i heard from my group mates, the judge was full of criticism and no praises. We all worked really hard on this project, ahhh.. oh well.. =/
Went for Iron Man the movie with a huge group of people in the evening at princess, we had planned to watch it at tampines GV for the convenience of everyone, but there weren't much seats available already =/ so we decided to head to princess instead!~ It's one of the first time i went out with so many people to catch a movie, there were like 14 guys. Even sorting out the tickets was a hassle.. i think the show is not too bad, if you like the idea of being a hero and stuff like that you're bound to love this one. I give it ○○○○/○○○○○ and below are some of the movie posters for the show.
