It's been several days since Shawn won the title of Campus Super Star, there is this thought that kept bugging me.. why is it that in every of such audience-voted competitions won by guys? Weird isn't it? Final 2 of SI was both guys for both seasons, in project super star and campus superstar, they made it a point to have one of each sex to be in the final 2, however, it's always the guys that won.. This time round it was Shawn, i prefer Keely though =P

I'm not being sexist saying that ladies are incompetent. I guess it's probably that the only ones who actually vote are female, maybe there is just a handful of guys who had voted, but they can't out vote the girls, can they? It's always the girls who are voting, guys probably just support but no actions done xD that's why there is such a trend that only guys win..

One more thing that i dislike about such competition is that looks play a big part on getting your votes, one such example is Joakim, i'm sure most people would agree with me that his singing is not that great compared to the other contestants, however he's got some fans who thinks he is extremely cute and voted vigorously for him and there was even the "save Jokim fund" to bring him back to the competition in the revival round. I was like - wth are these girls doing?!? If you noticed, it's always the 'not so good looking' ones who got eliminated first.. the organisers should have made the ratio of audience votes to judge's marks, 50:50 instead of 70:30. this would probably make it more fair.. however, there are also those who are wiling to spend a fortune on their son/daughter.. It is on an chinese newspaper article that Shawn's mum spent over 10k to get his son the title. pity i cant find the article anymore =/

when the competition was held, i was discussing it with other 'forumers' How is it that this small kid came so far, we thought it was the power of the 'Aunties United' but thought it has to be.. but i felt that we were awfully wrong when i saw this article =/ some 'forumer' said that it's a shame that the title was 'bought'. If you're rich, you might want to consider joining this competition, that is if you can make it to the top 12 in the first place. we were also discussing the about other contestants, and Zhen Ning looks like several people xD and Keely looks like Apple Hong. I think she looks really sweet. but if you'll ask me, my dream girl is none other than, Jolin! there is a stereotype that everyone who likes Jolin is simply because of her boobs, that's not true, i'm a living example to prove that wrong.. even if she has A cup i'd still find her gorgeous. there is also a misconception that her boobs are G cup, it's only a rumor made by the journalists to attract people..
